That want to get a different approach to several topics of Maths, different from the school book perspective. Nice little stories and some but not to heavy background information, some samples, overall a quite good supplement for teachers, tutors and students.
This book explains math in terms that a lay person can understand math. There are very good exercises at the end of each chapter that are very easy to understand.
